the real treat

sup fellas...and ladies. SO. THE RETREAT of REALLLLTREAT. was last weekend and is was all guys at idywild or however u spell it. the car ride was full of morphing the lyrics of universal mind control to getting robert to ask someboody to prom. its was pretty funny. i rode in blackies car with pontious sam and robert of course. the ride throught the mountains was SO creepy and scary cause no one cause see anything. i guess im afraid of the dark after all. uhh we got there att 10-11ish i forget. had sermon and the rules laid down by bang and jason. we broke off into small groups and i was with jason josh steve daniel eugine and gary. we shared and all that stuff and went baack to the main room. everyone chilled for a quick moment and then finally went to sleep at round 2 in the morning. josh and i slept on the main room table for no reason at all.

uuh woke up to bangs group making breakfast at 630 we tossed around a ramen bowl and encouraged each other. we had small groups and read Galatians. the whole book. im not gonna lie i tried paying attention but it was hard. so we read the whole book and went to big group where chris lead praise and jason gave sermon. we had some reflect time after for like 30min but lots of people ended up sleeping. we came back and chris gave his sermonstuff and gave people grapes for the good attitudes that Galatians describes. i got a grape for self control. thx chris. uhh after we did the allhimpics that consisted offff groups ac and bd doing 750 push ups...we won that and 750 setups...we won that too and i was in bd and then we did wall sits for elimination...i did not do well at all but at the end camron steve josh and robert stayed on the wall for 18 min.....that...is...incredible. finally jason and bang just said stop so no one won that. after we played chicken and they won. then we played this towel guessing game and everyone mooned each other...it was pretty weird. so they won that and then we had lunch. group b, my group, cooked lunch. we were spsd to grill burgers and hot dogs but there was only stuff for burgers. so we fired up the grill and cooked the patties in n out style. or at least something like it. lots of people were crowding the kitchen but it wasn't too bad. i was just delegating people to do stuff and stuff got done. the patties were being cook and we even grilled the buns. josh and i tried to put mayo on some of them but lots of the mayo bunns turned out weird. some of the wonderful but most of them not. anyways steve cooked up some normal ones and we hadddd lettuce tomatoes cheese and chips. towards the end i put some ketchup and mayo together to make some in n out special sauce...ya that's what it is. and lots of people tried it. i finally ate two burgers and cleaned up a little. after that dj and bynum started a crazy game of monopoly using jensons set. and i tried practicing guitar. eugine showed me how to play the intro to stairway to heaven. so when im good at it i can cross it off my bucket list. wee haddd some oda small group when it was dark. my group had it in the huge van which was nice...but weird. we talked about prayer requests and jason might not b at our church anymore :(...anyways we prayed for each other and then talked about garys girl troubles for like 30min. then after we got out i awkwardly popped my head into the main room where bang had his group still going and then popped in back out. after me josh steve jason and robert talked about design karate or something like it, boy scouts, the army, them black hawk down in that order. finally jason said i twas ok for us to come into the room. then we gave praise and jenson did a sermon about loving one another as brothers. this one was pretty deep. it got me thinkin which was good. then we split off into groups of two but i went with jenson and josh cause everyone else was taken josh said laziness i said anger towards mom and jenson said pride so we encouraged eachother and gave solutions and prayed.dinner was spaghetti served up by jamess grop. i forget who was in it but gary and matt helped. after frists me and steve cut up the extra burger patties and put them in the sauce...it was GOOOOD. theeen errybody chilled and bang plus other people started a fire in the fireplace which was partially not working cause the room filled up with smog which kinda gave me and josh a headache. so i picked up the guitar again and james taught me the chords to better together by the jack johnson. josh got it right away (i didnt even know he played guitar) and it took me more time to get it down. uhh so ya i just guitared while watching dj sam josh and bynum play that small red korean card game. while waiting for the young ones to finish with the monopoly game. finally they finished at like 12 and we started playing...i was the mcdonalds fried (it was the up to date version). so we eventually paired up into teams and i was with phillip (whom i just met) dj and mathew, and josh and sam, and pontious and bynum. ponti and bynum started off well but then everyone traded and all got monolopies eccept for us and made a couple bad moves and got second to last.during the game there were a couple of screaming fights...just thought u outa know. finally it was just josh and dj playing while i set up my bed on the table again and slept to josh and dj arguing about disneyland or watever.

i specifically remember dreaming about harry potter when bang woke me and josh up. then i knocked out in like ten seconds when jason finally got us up at 630. jason was crazy up tight cause we had to b back by 9 or else. so we all packed up cleaned out the kitchen and stood around for like 10min before we headed into the cars. i rode with blackie again and sam sat in the middle with robert at shotgun...again. and i was left to eat a whole Costco cornbread muffin. it was goood. well ya accept for the first 20min im pretty sure me and sam slept the whole way. i woke up when we got off the freeway onto Fullerton and called my mommy. we unpacked the van and my mommy came while blackies fasha took everyone out to breakfast. i went home and shower cause i was the only one to bring ONLY ONE PAIR OF CLOTHES for the whole trip...thats y i didnt mention showering. anyways i got picked up by mama and prayed for patience as she talked to me about whatever. i got home and shower...it was the best...the best. and then caught up with the guys at the mexican place blackies dad recommended. ate some pretty darn good carne esada tacoes and took james back to church with everybody else. drew mathews from the winter retreat and bangs seminar friend gave a pretty good sermon about letting Jesus into your life on yur own terms as apart from letting Jesus into yur life on HIS terms. puurty nice. after i caught up with him a lil bit while wanting to nap but still kinda talking to him about whatever and watching him squash dj. and then took steve home and crashed on the couch. woke up and burpo came over. we watched..........hanna shmonshmanaa and sonny with a chance. then we tried watching the bank job which was kinda confusion but ended up taking a nap on my one person couch. finally i just got up and turned the bank job back on. she woke up and said farewell and i took the laptop in my room and finished it at 1230ish.
